The Jasper area still has the remote feel and (so far) less climbers. We know many out of the way areas, peaks rarely climbed, and climbs with no chalk marks. If you want something out of the standard "checklist" give us a call.

Guided Rock Climbs

Numerous Rock climbing possibilities are available in the Jasper area. From short sport climbs, multi pitch cragging, to long alpine rock climbs. There is a great variety of routes on both limestone and quartzite.

I can recommend a tailor made adventure or learning experience. Most equipment can be provided, some rented.

Guided day climbs start at $400.00/day. (GST not included)

Peveril Peak

Peveril Peak in the Trident Range. A wonderful day climb with excellent views into the famous Tonquin Valley !

The beautiful North Ridge offers great climbing on generally good quartzite.

It is about a 10-12 hour day.

Rated: Grade II 5.6

Meissner's Ridge

Located in the Colin Range this is one of the Jasper Classic Alpine Rock Routes !

This requires a long day though very rewarding. This is usually in shape from Mid-June on. The Long ridge is quite exposed in places, though the climbing never really too hard. Spectacular views of the Colin range in all directions

Rated: Grade III 5.6

Cadot Crack

Another excellent Alpine Rock Route.

There are a total of 14 pitches of climbing on some excellent limestone. This route is not frequently done, and has the true experience of a remote outing.

Rating: Grade III 5.7-5.8

Mt Morro: Guides Route

A great introduction to multipitch climbing and a good way to get a feel for local limestone.

This route consists of up to 11 pitches. This is one of the shorter day peaks in the area, though with lots of fun climbing and a short approach.

Rating: Grade II 5.7
