Hilda Creek Parking Lot

The meeting place for the first day is the Parking lot adjacent, and on the opposite side of the road from the Hilda Creek Hostel

I have had a few people get lost, so here is a map and some pics that should help you.

The parking lot is 3.1km south of the Banff Park Boundary. You will drive past this on your way south from the icefields. If coming up from the south, the parking lot is on the right side of the road, about 1km north of the Parkers Ridge area. The accompanying map and pictures should help get you there.

If coming from the north the parking lot is on the left, and it is somewhat blind. If you pass the hostel on the right side of the road, you have gone too far. If coming from the south the parking lot is more obvious. This section of road is a right hand bend with a guard rail on both sides.
